Italian performance car manufacturer Lamborghini has launched the Lamborghini Urus S in the Indian market and here are the top 5 things you should know about the Italian super SUV.

Price: The new Lamborghini Urus S super SUV is priced at Rs 4.18 crore (ex-showroom, India). In comparison, last year, Lamborghini launched the Urus Performante super SUV at Rs 4.22 crore (ex-showroom, India).

Powertrain: The Lamborghini Urus S is powered by the same 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, V8 engine that powers the sportier Urus Performante. This engine puts out 657bhp (666PS) of peak power and 850Nm of peak torque.

Like the Lamborghini Urus Performante, the new Lamborghini Urus S is equipped with an advanced all-wheel-drive system with torque vectoring technology. On top of that, the newly launched super SUV comes with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Weight: The new Lamborghini Urus S super SUV tips scale at 2,197 kilogrammes. This makes the latest iteration of the Italian super SUV 47 kilogrammes heavier than the sportier Lamborghini Urus Performante.

Performance: The newly launched Lamborghini Urus S takes 3.5 seconds to reach 100km/h from a standstill, which is 0.2 seconds slower than a Urus Performante, but 0.1 seconds faster than the original Urus.

That being said, the Lamborghini Urus S is among the quickest SUVs on the planet with a 0-200km/h sprint taking just 12.5 seconds, and the top speed of the super SUV is rated at 305km/h.

Design: The Lamborghini Urus S looks much more refined and less aggressive compared to the sportier Lamborghini Urus Performante with its new bumpers and alloy wheels. However, keep in mind that the Lamborghini Urus in whatever colour or variant really stands out of the crowd.
